Residents and neighbors were pleasantly surprised last week when the Hanover Board of Supervisors voted 4-3 to deny data center developer Tract’s application to create the Mountain Road Technology Park on Rt 33 adjacent to Henrico County.

Help Friends of Hanover Fight Data Centers!
Friends of Hanover is working round the clock to fight the data centers proposed for Hanover County. Their leadership led to a recommend to Deny from the Planning Commission on the Hunting Hawk Technology Park. With that proposal withdrawn by the developer, they are focused on the next data center proposal.
Mountain Road Technology Park Deferred
Hanover County residents and neighbors filled the auditorium at the Hanover Government Center on 2/19, and they came prepared with tough questions and hard facts for the Planning Commission. The vote was deferred until the next meeting on 3/19. Civic engagement makes a difference, so please continue to push back!
