Henrico Dems Spring Social

May 5, 2025
By: Staff Writer

Spring Social Alert!

Instead of our usual May meeting, we’re throwing a Spring Social on Wednesday, May 15th from 7–9 PM at The Answer Brewpub (6008 W. Broad Street).

Delicious food? Check. Some beverages on us? Check. Special guests dropping by? Check. Excellent company? Always.

Come hang out, relax, and celebrate all the hard work we’ve done (and all the work still ahead). It’s a great chance to catch up with fellow Dems, enjoy some good grub and drinks, and toast to a busy and exciting election year.

No speeches. No business meeting. Just good people, good food, and good energy.

See you there!

“What brings me out is the future of my grandchildren and my great grandchildren and bad things for the working class. People fought so hard to get us where we are, I was hoping we’d never go back, we’d just keep moving forward and make it better. But we’re going backward, and it’s getting worse.”

Amy Good Trouble

“I object to what’s going on. Every morning I wake up and open the newspaper like ‘What fresh hell will there be today?’ And there are so many issues that I’m absolutely horrified by that it’s hard to list them all. My partner is on Medicaid and they craftily cut it – for after the midterms. He has a large number of health issues, and it’s going to be very difficult for him to get healthcare. It’ll be really tough.”
