N4C Popsicle Party (Photo Gallery)

September 8, 2025
By: Staff Writer

“It’s so nice to chat with like minded people” was the common theme at the first Neighbors for Change Kids Popsicle Party!

Adults and kids got together August 29 at the Wyndham Swim and Racquet Club with crafts, games, popsicles for the kids, and conversation and beverages for the adults. By the sounds of laughter from the kids, it’s safe to call it a rousing success!

Keep an eye out for more N4C family friendly events this fall!

“What brings me out is the future of my grandchildren and my great grandchildren and bad things for the working class. People fought so hard to get us where we are, I was hoping we’d never go back, we’d just keep moving forward and make it better. But we’re going backward, and it’s getting worse.”

“I object to what’s going on. Every morning I wake up and open the newspaper like ‘What fresh hell will there be today?’ And there are so many issues that I’m absolutely horrified by that it’s hard to list them all. My partner is on Medicaid and they craftily cut it – for after the midterms. He has a large number of health issues, and it’s going to be very difficult for him to get healthcare. It’ll be really tough.”
