Why are you participating in “Good Trouble” today?
“I’m most passionate about not staying neutral or silent, it’s almost as bad as being on the other side if you don’t speak out. I think that change won’t happen if we don’t do something. Holding a sign doesn’t feel like much, but it all adds up. I’m wearing my military gear to show that – it’s sorta been associated with right-wing, and I want to show that there are people who have some sense too.
I’m focused on reproductive rights and ICE, I go to a very diverse school and there are plenty of amazing people I know that are in danger right now. That, and women’s rights being taken away is a big thing for my age group”.
