6/7/25 “Wittman Robbed Us” Protest

June 2, 2025
By: Staff Writer

Rob Wittman voted to slash SNAP, gut Medicaid and protect tax breaks for billionaires and he’s hoping no one makes a fuss.

Too bad we’re showing up right outside his Henrico office.

Join us Saturday, June 7th, from 1–3 PM

Corner of Dominion Blvd and Broad Street, Henrico 23060

This is a district-wide protest, with folks coming in from across Virginia’s First to hold him accountable. While this brutal budget is still being debated, we’re bringing the pressure where it counts. No more quiet cruelty. No more votes without consequences.

It’s time Wittman heard from the people he’s supposed to represent. Loudly 🔥

Denise Good Troubl

“What brings me out is the future of my grandchildren and my great grandchildren and bad things for the working class. People fought so hard to get us where we are, I was hoping we’d never go back, we’d just keep moving forward and make it better. But we’re going backward, and it’s getting worse.”

“I object to what’s going on. Every morning I wake up and open the newspaper like ‘What fresh hell will there be today?’ And there are so many issues that I’m absolutely horrified by that it’s hard to list them all. My partner is on Medicaid and they craftily cut it – for after the midterms. He has a large number of health issues, and it’s going to be very difficult for him to get healthcare. It’ll be really tough.”
