By: Staff Writer

Thursday 7/17 5-7PM

Join 50501 Virginia, RVA Indivisible, Neighbors For Change, dozens of other partner organizations, and fellow Virginians as we stand across Richmond on Monument Avenue. Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of action to respond to the attacks on our civil and human rights by the Trump Administration.

Neighbors For Change is hosting the block from Blacker to Chantilly. Bring your friends, signs and your positive energy. We’ll bring the cold water!

Kids are welcome on our block – just remember we’ll be standing along a busy road. If you plan to bring children, please email us with the number and ages at info@neighbors4change.com so we can plan something fun.

Sign up for our block!

The sign up is for logistical planning only – no personal identifying information is collected or shared. Bring a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen along to the speeches. Check here for the link to the streamed program.

Join us and our partners to protect:

Denise Good Troubl

“What brings me out is the future of my grandchildren and my great grandchildren and bad things for the working class. People fought so hard to get us where we are, I was hoping we’d never go back, we’d just keep moving forward and make it better. But we’re going backward, and it’s getting worse.”

Amy Good Trouble

“I object to what’s going on. Every morning I wake up and open the newspaper like ‘What fresh hell will there be today?’ And there are so many issues that I’m absolutely horrified by that it’s hard to list them all. My partner is on Medicaid and they craftily cut it – for after the midterms. He has a large number of health issues, and it’s going to be very difficult for him to get healthcare. It’ll be really tough.”
